How to use essential oils safely

Some of our oils are strong essential oils (clove, tea tree, rosemary, peppermint and the pain relief blend) and some are gentle carrier oils (argan, jojoba, castor, avocado, grapeseed, flaxseed, black seed, vitamin E). The rule is simple: strong oils are always mixed into a carrier oil, carrier oils can be used on their own in small amounts.

Patch test first: put the mixed oil on the inside of your arm and wait 24 hours.
Keep oils away from the eyes and inside of the nose; never swallow essential oils.
Keep the bottles away from children; ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a health condition.
Store the amber bottle closed, away from sunlight and heat, so the oil stays fresh.
