Description
Looking for the clove oil price in Pakistan and a bottle you can trust? She’s Collection Pure Clove Oil, known in most Pakistani homes as laung ka tel, comes in a 30 ml amber glass dropper bottle with the label line “Natural Relief. Soothing Comfort.” Cloves are already part of every Pakistani kitchen, from biryani to chai, and the oil carries the same warm, spicy aroma in a strong, concentrated form.
In our winters, when the air turns cold and dry in Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar, many families like a warm clove-scented massage at the end of the day. This page explains what clove oil is, how people use it, how to dilute it safely and what it costs with free delivery.
What is clove oil and why do people use it?
Clove oil is an essential oil that comes from the clove plant, the same dried flower buds we use as a spice. You can read more about it on Wikipedia. Because it is very strong, clove oil is never used on its own; a few drops are mixed into a milder carrier oil first.
For generations, clove oil has been traditionally used in South Asian homes for its warming feel and comforting scent. Today people keep a small bottle at home for:
- a warm, comforting massage blend for tired hands and feet in winter
- adding a spicy, cosy aroma to a diffuser or a bowl of warm water
- mixing a drop or two into a homemade massage oil for the shoulders after a long day
Benefits of clove oil for comfort and skin
Clove oil is best known for its warm, soothing feel. When it is properly diluted in coconut or olive oil, many people find a gentle massage with it relaxing, especially on cold evenings. Its rich, spicy fragrance may also help a room feel warm and inviting.
Because clove oil is so concentrated, a little goes a long way: one 30 ml bottle lasts a long time when you use only a few drops per blend. It is a good addition to a home oil kit next to milder oils such as jojoba or argan.
Teeth and gums: clove oil has a long traditional link with tooth comfort, but it must never be used undiluted on gums or teeth, as it can irritate them. If you have tooth pain, please see a dentist.
How to use clove oil
- Take 1 to 2 tablespoons of a carrier oil such as coconut, olive or jojoba oil in a small bowl.
- Add only 2 to 3 drops of clove oil and mix well.
- Do a patch test on the inner arm and wait 24 hours.
- If there is no redness or itching, massage a small amount of the blend gently on the area, such as the shoulders, hands or feet.
- Wash your hands after use and keep them away from your eyes.
- For aroma, add 2 to 3 drops to a diffuser or a bowl of warm water instead of applying it to skin.
Safety tips
- Always dilute: mix a few drops in a carrier oil such as coconut, olive, argan or jojoba before using it on skin or scalp.
- Patch test first on the inner arm and wait 24 hours before regular use.
- Keep away from the eyes, inside of the nose and broken skin.
- For external use only. Do not swallow.
- Keep the bottle out of reach of children.
- Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or before using it on a child.
- Never put undiluted clove oil on gums or teeth; see a dentist for tooth pain.
